Who Works at “The Pup”?

Cindi: Cindi Howell, owner of TWP is indeed a Renaissance woman; a wife to Doug, a mother to Chelsea (and Oliver), a small business owner and a published poet!

She has long had a long love of animals having grown up on a farm in Eastern Washington but her real passion is dogs.

She took her experience at an Edmonds veterinary clinic and created a whole new career. Cindi has been with TWP since the day the doors opened. She has parlayed her classes on dog training and apprenticing in Puppy, Basic Obedience, Obedience and Canine Good Citizen to become certified and a trainer extraordinaire!

The guardians know their pups are in good care with Cindi at the helm!

Cameron: I graduated from high school in Seattle in 2006 and decided to take some time off to work and travel before starting college. I came to work at the Whole Pup in September 2007 and started apprenticing in training classes as well. This fall I started school again at Shoreline Community College and plan on transfering to a four year college to major in Biology.

I volunteer at the Seattle Aquarium in my free time and get to work with sea otters, river otters, fur seals and harbor seals. I love seeing the similarities between training a dog and training a sea otter.

I live with my parents and our two dogs, Mylee and Keely. Both have taken classes at the Pup and enjoy showing off their skills whenever guests come over. I love working at The Pup with Cindi, Stacey, and Chelsea.

I can’t believe my luck at finding such an amazing job!

Stacey: I graduated in 2005 and am currently attending North Seattle Community College taking courses in their Radiology Technology Program. I have always had a deep passion and respect for animals and was fortunate enough to start working at The Whole Pup in November of 2007. It has been an amazing opportunity to gain first hand experience of dog behavior, both on an individual basis and in a “pack” environment.

I have been able to bring my dog Griffin with me everyday and together, we have built our human/canine relationship immensley through the obedience classes that are offered at TWP. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by great people and wonderful dogs everyday!

Chelsea: I have been working here at The Whole Pup since April 08. I couldn’t have asked for a better job. I am taking some time off school to work and travel.

I love working with my mom, Cindi (who is also the owner), Stacey and Cameron! I recently got my very own puppy, Charlotte, who is taking puppy class and coming to daycare at TWP.

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to spend each day with so many wonderful pups!
